
If you look closely at the ankles of Burning Man you'll see some people. This should add some scale to this wooden neon lined figure. It was about six stories tall. That's a lot of neon folks! Below you see the same figure on it's final voyage. In addition to the staging and supports for this figure being covered with hay bales that were about twenty feet tall, Burning Man was rigged with fireworks and flammables. Look closely at the explosion below to get a scale. The little ant like blips at the bottom of the fireworks are people. I took this photograph from one mile away, three stories up, on rickety scaffolding.
